1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mime Chat (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Mime Chat is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that provides AI-powered customer support chatbots, conversation management, knowledge base tools, and embeddable widgets for customer websites.

3. Accounts and Organizations

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each organization is a separate tenant; you may not access data belonging to other organizations. You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, plan limits, or access controls
  • Distribute malware or harmful content through chatbot interactions
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Resell access to the Service without written authorization

5. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Plan limits (chatbots, seats, AI conversations) are enforced per your selected tier. Overages may incur additional charges as described on our pricing page. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate chat responses. AI responses are provided “as is” and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content and configuring appropriate guardrails for your use case. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content (knowledge base articles, conversation data, configurations). We retain ownership of the Service, its software, and underlying technology. You grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mime Chat and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
